I like to have plain 882 with G10 handles. It was never produced as I understand. However there are 882 with plain edge and plastic handle and thin liner and 882 with G10 handle, thick liner but serrited blade.

I like to replace blade.

Did anybody try this?

Any suggestions how to disassemple 882PE with plastic handle?

Thanks, Vassili.

Turns out it is pretty easy to do. So I have 882 with G10 handles and plane edge. Unfortunately liner is same thin as it i son plastic hndled model. I was surprized, becaus saw some reports and had impression that liner on G10 model is thicker.

Otherwise it is great knife! And I have two of them now, one which combines best of two and another one - standart 882.

Did anybody try to gring serration out?

Thanks, Vassili.

There was a VERY limited run of G10 models with plain edge ATS34 blades... sadly I missed out.

PLEASE BUCK make the Buck Strider 882 G10 in plain edge!

I am afraid this will never happen - it is not only up to Buck, but Strider some how influences this production. First models 880, 881 and 888 were just perfect, but, I guess, they was too perfect and next runs had serration, plastic handle, regular steel, one of this or combination - something which not let them compete on premium knives market with more expensive knives.

I guess you have to pay $400 for Strider SnG, instead.

Thanks, Vassili
