Replacing Handle Scales

Hi,

Seriously thinking about replacing my Chinese Bob Lum (Green Aluminum) scales with either G10 or Carbon Fibre - Can't stand the thought of scratching the Aluminiun

I may have to ask someone else to do it for me, as I don't have a 'proper' workshop and tools.

Questions:
- Which do you think would be stronger / more appropriate for this purpose (any alternatives?)
- Anyone know of anyone out there that already does this?
