i've had my blem blur for about a year of hard service, and today it fell tip down on my garage floor, and a 1/8 inch to a 1/4 inch snapped off the tip. so i guess its time for it to retire to the safe, which means that i need to find a replacement for it, so i was wondering what you guys would suggest, currently im trying to decide between another blur and a zt 350, but any ideas are welcome.

this is what im looking for:

  • assisted opening
  • 3 inch blade (or something close to that)
  • under $115

thanks in advance for all of your help,

I think everyone should own at least one ZT.......:D

But if you really liked how the Blur worked for your uses, don't
hesitate to buy another one. The ZT is definitely going to be a
harder use knife.

I think you should listen to your heart... If you liked the blur then go for it, but the 0350 is like a blur on roids. Get both

The ZT is a tank fun to play with watching tv but if you are going to carry it, you cant beat a Blur .

I've been carrying a 350 here the last week or so, and LOVE it. It's a bit larger in size than the Blur. I liked the ergonomics better than the Blur. Plus, I like the flipper more than having to use a thumb stud, as on the Blur. So, I enjoy the 350 a lot.

I think thats how I broke my 0350 torsion bar, sitting around watching tv flipping that thing constantly for a month. Wife hates that sound of it locking up. :D

If it were me I would experiment and get a 350. You can always get another blur down the road.
