Replacing My Vic Solo

I find myself just wanting to drop my Victorinox Solo into my pocket over all of my other knives, these days. I'm just tired of carrying big, pocket filling folders with pocket clips sticking out of pocket, catching on things and being visible. I would much rather drop a thin, light, comfortable knife into my pocket and forget about it until I need it, and my Solo is the only knife that fills that niche for me right now.

I would really like to replace it, as the tip is a bit blunt for some of my regular uses, and I'd like a steel upgrade. I'm just not used to having to sharpen this much. I don't care if it locks or not, but it must be at least have at least a 3 inch blade, no more than 3.5 inch, and it must be thin, sleek and have a nail nick rather than a stud. I am not considering friction folders. I just don't like them.

Right now, my main choices are these two:

The Al Mar Falcon:

And the Kershaw Gentleman's Folder:

I love the lines on the Al mar, but I'm not wild about $150 for a knife using AUS-8. The Kershaw is nearly perfect, but it's harder to find and I hate the gold accents.

I'm leaning toward the Al Mar, but any other suggestions would be great.

Here's a picture of a Vic Solo:

I can't comment on the Al Mar, but I have the Kershaw Gentleman's Folder, and the fit and finish is outstanding.
