Replacing rotoblock

hey all, I recently picked up an SR-2 and while overall I really like the knife, I kind of want to get rid of the rotoblock. I find it to be unnecessary on a knife this size, and too often it engages when I don't want it to. Has anyone tried replacing it with a standard stabilizer spacer, and if so any recommendations on where to get the parts?

I simply used loctite on the rotoblock screw while in the open position, and never had it move on me once in the 6 months following until I sold it. Doesn't answer your question, but a viable option if you had not thought of it yet.
