I was given a ZT 0350 that had been deassisted, and would like to put the spring back in. Anybody else done this before? Thanks!

Good luck my friend.......your in for a treat;)

Iv never re or de assisted a 350 but iv done it to my volt (2) and its just a matter of being patient.....It will make sense how it should go back together once it's apart..here's a youtube vid explaining it.

It's actually very simple. Put one end of torsion bar in the hole in the blade and the other in the back spacer, then screw it back together.

A forum member here posted some pics illustrating how the torsion bar fits.

Be sure to put some grease on the torsion bar before closing it up (reduces metal-on-metal wear, and keeps the torsion bar from rattling when the knife is open). Pretty much any reasonably thick grease should work (I use white lithium grease, but people have reported common petroleum jelly working too).

If you don't feel comfortable doing it, you could call up Kershaw Warranty. They may be willing to re-assemble it for you.
