OK, I'm one happy camper! I picked up a Blem 18" (ok, really 19 1/2") Ang Khola a few months ago, and I'm hooked! For starters, I had the top down on the Jeep, and man, when that blade hit the Arizona sun... When the spots went away, what a great looking knife! I've been using it pretty steady in the garden, and it's holding up great. Limbing small trees? It laughs at anything under 4". I roughed up the handle a bit, and don't have any problem holdin' on in full swing. The edge isn't quite hair-popping, but I figure it will be after Shamrock Don is finished with it. Don bought his 2 days after seeing mine. Now that he's got a Sirupati on the way... Uncle Bill, got another blem for me? I've been a Dad for 5 weeks now...
My wife liked the Ang Khola so much, she helped me make a plaque with a hanger, and we gave it a place of honor in the hallway, as you enter the house in back (friend's entrance). It quickly took over as "house knife" ousting the machete that previously held that title.
