Reprofiling Al Mar SERE 2000 blade

Say that acquired a SERE 2000 with the original blade edge removed (its now has a edge like a fixed blade, think Falkniven F1 but shitty), and now would like to return it to its original high flat grind. Should I use my Lansky, or send it off somewhere?
