Don't get me wrong - my BK-11 rocks but it was somewhat less pointy than I needed it to be. I've ground down the back a bit and worked on it to get it where it needs (IMO) to be. Anyone else with the same issue? Any suggestions?

Lol - I'll work on it. My camera bites for close in stuff but maybe I can get my daughter to help out. It's nothing major - just need some pointyness. :D

didn't the TSA tell you that profiling is illegal? :)

sound fun. more point could be useful. like a mora?

course, the balancing act is that the tip will then be a bit weaker.

That and when you take time dilation into account, from the point of view of the zero point energy field, we are not even 7 days old. Could it be that we are not done being created? Hmmmmm

please provide pictures of the big bang :)

Didn't happen.

Actually - it's more like the point that came on my son's BK-14. It doesn't need to remove splinters or anything, just needs to be pointy enough to help me make the initial incision IF I get another deer this year. Other than that, this knife feels perfect to me for the job. The blade is the perfect size for me to lay my finger along the spine, so I know exactly where I am when reaching way up into a deer's goopy body cavity and the skeletonized handle should clean up much more easily than knives I've used in the past.

Yeah, I back ground the point on my BK11, 'cause it wasn't pointy enough for me, but my BK14 came as a splinter picker. I have been so satified with the ESKabar's performance, its my EDC. I don't carry a folder anymore, and probably won't again.

Here is one I redid quite a while ago. It is posted in the Becker pics thread as well.
