Republic Knife (hunter adventure)

Here is my latest. My first attempt for a bigger size knife. The design is from customer (my neighbor), his dream knife.

Specs:
Steel : D2 (HT by me to about 58 HRC)
Blade: Flat ground, convex edge. Semi mirror finish (D2 does not look good when it is full mirror finished)
Handle :
Bolster and pins: AISI 304 Stainless Steel
Wood: Ebony and "presentation grade" American Black Walnut, teak oil finish...

Blade lenght: 5"
Overall: 10.5"

The name is because the finished date of it is same as the Republic Date of Turkey (29 October)...

A water buffalo leather sheath is under construction. The makers mark is in design stage...
