I got a AMS on the way, and for a blade this size I was going to reprofile it to a v edge. I got a wicked edge, but for me to reprofile my ratmandu with sr101 steel, it took me 2 to 3 hours (and a good buzz) to take out the convex. That is why I was wondering, to save some steel and some time if Busse on request will just give me a basic v edge (doesn't even need to be sharp)?

I am pretty sure they will give you what you want.....whats a LEMS?

guessing here
limited edition mean street ?

and... why a v edge ? convex is.... well.. convex (not to start a discussion why i think a convex edge is more stable)

Ah it must be the AMS. THe anniversary mean street cause the original shms didnt come in LE. Also, the meaner le was made long ago and there arent any blanks left....

Still trying to figure out the abbreviation names of Busse knives (WHAT A LOSER). I meant limited edition mean street, has the satin finish (which I now know is anniversary mean street). I just figure with a smaller blade, I really do not need a convex edge if infi is as tough as I hear it is (my first Busse), well anyway thanks for the help, I will give them a call tomorrow, before 5.

Called Busse yesterday morning, Pokey answered and said it won't be a problem putting the v edge on my AMS. I have yet to have as good of customer service with any company even outside of knives, than I have had with Busse.
