REQUEST - blade height on ASHBM

I've been pondering getting a choil-less ASHBM for a little while, but wondering if I can get some info from those who have them already on the blade height. The Bussecombat website says it is 2", but the pictures I have seen from new owners seem to be slightly shorter / narrower than the picture on the website, and I remember seeing one thread where a new owner of an choiled LE version said his was only 1.75".

I find even smaller differences in blade height can make a significant difference to the look and feel of a blade. My B10 comes in at around 1.63", and I was hoping for something significantly wider. Would appreciate any info on where these are coming in practice.
 
Very fair question --- Let me just say that mine is about 1.8ish. If you're referring to how it looks, I can say that in general any blade with black coating will appear slightly slimmer than it actually is. It is especially the case since there is a color difference between the black coating and the steel edge. Hope that helps.
 
I can tell you though that I love my choil-less ASHBM. But yes exactly 2 inches would have been even better. :)
 
Thanks for the input. Would love to hear from others if theirs are the same, or if there is some variation out there.
