I ordered one of these yesterday through Cheaper Than Dirt, $43.66 shipped. I'd like to know if anybody has any comments about this knife.

The exact knife I ordered, copied from the website...

Construction is an extremely heavy duty build, with the thickest stainless steel liners we have ever used. The result is an authoritative feel, with perfect balance at the deep index finger choil.
The handle shape is classic Kasper profile, ample without being cumbersome. The textured black Zytel® scales are flat with no swell so the knife won’t print in the pocket, and to make drawing smoother. The thumb scallop on the left scale acts as an index point for the initial grip and draw, is also a ramp leading down to the thumb stud, and helps the index finger secure a more positive grip. The thumb ramp has aggressive friction grooves, to ensure thumb purchase under slippery conditions.
The blade is a stout, modified clip point of AUS 6M stainless steel, double hollow ground and bead blast finished to cut reflectivity. Both Razor-Sharp and Combination Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ serrated blades are available. The thumb ramp features double thumb studs for ambidextrous use.
Construction is our industry-leading Mirage build: 420 J2 double stainless steel liners, 6061 T6 hard anodized aluminum back spacer, Torx® fasteners and Teflon® bearings for buttery smooth opening and closing.
The black, Teflon plated pocket clip is mounted on the leading edge of the handle, resulting in a low-in-the-pocket storage which keeps the knife from prying eyes as much as possible.

I have one of those. Probably the best "foreign made factory knife" I've bought. Its a clone of the excellent Kasper Crawford fighting folder that was originally titanium and micarta (I believe). AUS-6 is a perfectly good steel, maybe not equal to the super steels being used on higher end knives but it will certainly work for you if you want a self defense knife that will also open packages and that sort of thing. The LAWKS really does work and prevents the liner from moving over, also, you tend to flip on on almost automatically. Really, and especially for the low price, quite a good knife, and one of the best defensive/fighting folder patterns around.
 
The Kasper pattern is about the best feeling knife I've ever had in my hand. The CRKT version is dead on the money for the custom model! It is also one of the best buys around.......especially at the price you got it. Though AUS6M is not S30V, it is a steel that is easy to sharpen. The M suffix indicates Modified and means that a little bit more carbon has been added to the steel to improve it. I think you'll be very happy with your purchase. :D :D :D

Yes it feels great in hands, but was a bit heavy in my pants and as a leftie it wasn´t "THAT" knife.

I found the allover blasted blade to be a bad point. Considering reflections you might blast it, but the whole blade and the tang was blasted, which was more to hide some tolerances, more than anything else.

After i found that my blade wasn´t straight and centered i gave it back and turned to a full ambyd. knife.
 
I have the large and small KCFF knives.They both feel great in my hands and a great buy for the money.I liked them so much,I had to get both versions.Plus the Companion fixed blade too.
 
I've got one, and I love it. It's one of my favorite heavy-duty folders. The ergonomics are superb, and as heavy as it is, it's flat enough to carry in my pocket as easily as much smaller knives. I think you'll be happy with it!
 
A Little thick, but I LOVE IT. Low discreet carry, but it prints a bit (I have big thighs, everything prints)
