Request for account prorating

Hi Spark , I recently updated my membership from Gold annual to PG Platinum annual, but there was six months remaining on my Gold annual membership. Can I either be partially refunded or have my PG Platinum account extended by six months? Thanks!

Since gold is half the price of platinum, believe the 6 months left would translate to a 3 month extension.

Oh, I suppose that is true. Regardless, the request is the same in spirit, I'd like a partial refund or an appropriate extension of the platinum membership. Thanks!
