Despite the fact that I speak broken HTML, the eBay store is finally finished except for revisions and corrections I'm sure will have to be made along the way. Would really appreciate advise and comments from Cantinistas about any aspect of the presentation, pricing, shipping or return policies. (Would be glad, in return, to help out anyone considering a similar endeavor.) After you've been looking at a project like this nonstop for several weeks you no longer really see it anymore.

Last night and this morning I finished up the Seller and Family page with the addition of some of my family photos. This was sheer fun and reinforced my conviction that I am the luckiest man on the face of the earth.

I have a couple more photo projects in mind. First, theres "A Good Start" to be published in the HI Forum which will show the current composition of my HI Collection. Then I will publish something like "Beautiful New Mexico" in the Cantina. If you haven't been to Northern New Mexico you are in for a surprise and a real treat. Northern New Mexico is one of the most overlooked paradises in the USA.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can take a few minutes and have a look.

Been a long time since I was last in NM.
You're right, it's beautiful.

Even Roswell, where we lived, has beholdable beauty, depending on how much sand is in your eyes.

Northern New Mexico is very beautiful indeed. Barbie and I used to go to Raton about once a year so that we could stop at Capulin early the next morning to pick up lava rocks for our Sweatlodge and then drive back home.
That made for a long two days but was well worth it just to see some new country for a change. :D

Ya, stay away Northern NM is just awful.....LOL!!!!

3 New Mexicans in the Cantina at once  :D

Funny thing about restaurants in NM. They don't ask if you want you food mild, medium, or spicy. And they don't have little pictures of peppers next to spicy selections on the menu. You're just supposed to know.

well, this isn't quite what you asked, but regarding the logo in your sig - it would be nice if you either made the white bars transparent or coloured them to match the blue background on BladeForum posts.:o my $0.02 on a purely cosmetic matter.

You were lucky. Before Los Alamos I worked at the Air Force Weapons Lab at Kirtland AFB and needed a "Secret" clearance there. Retirement was the first time since I was about 21 that I haven't had to worry about the "status" of my security clearance. Kinda hard on a young feller. You have to be good. But I wasn't.

Thanks for having a look Kaz, but our displays must be operating on different parameters. I don't have a blue background on Blade Forum posts. It's subtle at first, don't see much difference, but I do like your icon better. The blue and red seem darker, bringing out the intended flag color nature of the bottom strip. Or have I just been staring at these images to long?

hrargh! I think you'll find that one plays along better. The extra image material is now transparent.

If you would like me to play around with actual logo image/itself, a higher res version (if you have one) would be preferred. :)

Let's see if this works:

Bingo. I can probably turn off the watermark if that is needed.

removing the watermark would save me the effort of re-doing your pink fade bar, but it's not strictly necessary. Go ahead and email me if you have anything in particular in mind.

Edit: nevermind, your fade bar is full of yucky jpg artifacts and need replacing anyway. :p

well here's an example of what I can do after a week of terrible disease and interrupted and insufficient sleep, at 1 in the morning. that's all for now, folks. *yawn*

I like your site. Good scenery too.

Thanks, you've given me some good ideas and I'll take it from here. First thing to do is darken the red in the fade bar. It's not supposed to look pink (yuk).
