Request for Assistance

Fellow Hogs. I am not sure if I am violating "Ganza Rules" and if I am, I apologize and this thread can be removed.

I have just finished my tour in Afghanistan and am currently in Bishkek, Kyrghyzstan awaiting the rotator flight back to the US. I want to participate in the Ganza Thursday evening (morning my time), but I will be either boarding my flight home or locked down, awaiting to board. Would someone be kind enough to include 2 knives for me in their ganza request. My Hog name is HeadHOGKicker and my email address is carsonulrich@gmail.com. You may put in your ganza email request that the order is for me and Amy-O has all of my billing and shipping information. If I was to place the order myself I would request three, but I do not want to appear greedy. I would be quite happy if I scored but one.

Thank you Barb. I really do not want special treatment. If I was not going to be on a plane, I would be next to my computer trying to score like everyone else.
 
Well its up to you bro, I will be ready to go on both forums right at 9:30 and my computer is a hot rod and my connection is FIOS/DSL so weve got a good chance. Im getting only one (funds are kinda tight) but I will gladly request whatever you want.

If you dont want to appear greedy just email me how many. LOL.

No rules against asking for a proxy as far as I know. It's pretty common practice from what I've seen.

This is a particularly interesting offering though, and these guys are really on edge lately...so good luck! :thumbup:
 
This guy has served his country in Afghanistan. I vote that Busse reserves a knife for him. Will any of you HOGS second that.

While I understand the sentiment, if you do it for one guy, then many other service members might ask for similar treatment. Then poor Amy would have to figure out if each one is legitimate. She has enough to do without that added burden.

I love what I do and love who I serve. I would not ask for or accept any special treatment. This forum is filled with vets and those currently in service. But the appreciation from all is noted and recognized by me and is humbling. Thanks,
 
Hey, I'd forgo my knife for a serviceman. ;) I know that it isn't possible, but I hate seeing a guy overseas struggle to get a good knife. HeadKicker isn't LOOKING for special treatment, which is why Jerry could give it w/o complaints from others.

'Course I was a momma's boy who was too home-bound to enter the service when I was 18. So I've got a soft spot for those getting shot at.

You sure have the right attitude. Some of these HOGs would eat their young for a chance at a limited edition knife.

Thats the kind of attitude the world needs a hell of a lot more of! Prefferential treatment and set asides are what have ruined this once great country! Everyone needs to be judged by the same measuring stick. Thats not to say Im against giving a soldier something extra, Im totally for that, but these entitlement attitude having system manipulators put me in a murderous rage!

Sorry for the rant.

Ill do my best, Im pretty sure we will score...:)
