Request for block on Certain Forum

I have been a Gold Member for several years, and want to continue to support the forums through that, but as my young children are starting to spend more time on the home computer, I'd like to block a certain forum from access.

This forum which must not be named, has provided plenty of entertainment, and I'm not offended in any way, but I definitely wouldn't want my 13, 10 and 8 year-olds stumbling upon a "booty" thread.

If there's a way to block just that forum and no others (still like Political and Whine and Cheese) for my account, I'd appreciate it.

I know this site is password protected, but it's just a pain to have to enter it every time and remember to log off, especially as I like to leave it open to jump back on when convenient.

Please let me know if this is something you can do.

If not, I may have to downgrade my subscription.

Might look at the Platinum PG membership. I'm not sure what all it blocks, would be worth a peek.

Another option would be to simply log out of the account when you are not using it. If the kids get on the computer, they can still read and browse the bulk of the forums.

Good info kreole! Rev also has a good point about the log out, non members are automatically barred from the more sensitive areas of the forum. A good way to feel it out, just log off and enter the forum as a non member, its a whole different world. Kind of feels weird if you've been a paid member for a long time.

I think I'm responsible for PG Platinum. Many moons ago I too was concerned about hitting the "new posts" link, and seeing stuff that I didn't want. Especially with the Powernoodle juniors walking past the computer. So Commodore Spark was nice enough to create a membership level for this niche, which I much appreciate.

Yeah it blocks PC and W&C IIRC
