Dear Buck,
A request for a knife.
Please take an old Buck 500 and a current Ecolite 112 and place them into a blender to produce an Ecolite 500.
I love my Buck 500. My favorite knife and one you should put into production again anyway. But... while you're thinking about bringing about the Buck 500, it would be great if there were a lighter, less fancy version of it.
Yes... you have the 486 which is really close to what I'm asking for. I have one of those and it's a fantastic working knife. But, it's not that much of a looker.
Your Ecolite series is awesome. The paperstone scales combined with the liner produce a good looking knife at a reasonable weight. The traditional Buck 500 still wins for looks, but a paperstone version would be the bomb.
Like the Ecolite series and the original 500, please keep the pocket clip OFF.
Please give us an Ecolite 500. I know that I would stock up on the fool things.
