Request for help identifying Japanese sword

Sir,
A photo of the sword would be very helpful in identifying the sword. You have posted photos of part of the koshirae, ie; the tsuka and kozuka, which are nice.

The small peg in the handle can be pushed out (from the smaller side) and the handle removed. Place the blade only on a soft cloth and take a full length photo of it. If there is any writing, inscriptions, etc., on the tang take close ups (in focus) of these areas.

DO NOT put your fingers on the polished part of the blade, handle it only by the tang. DO NOT clean, polish, shine, wire brush or any other method of altering the blade or tang from it's original condition. A little light machine oil wiped gently on the blade with a soft rag is ok, but nothing more for now.
