Request for Help

I would like to request help from anyone who will here on Bladeforums.

Our local television station here in Alabama is running what they are calling the "Origional Artist" contest. They have ask for singers and songwritters to submit origional music to their website where it is posted and judged by a group of music people and voted on by every one else.

This is where I would like to request the help. My 14 year old daughter has been writting and performing Christian rock music for several years now and has submitted a song. The song was recorded on our computer at home and she did all the singing parts as well as played all the instruments except the drums, which were played by my 17 year old son. I guess I am a little biased, but I think they did a great job on the song.

I PM'd the Moderators and ask if this was OK before posting this request and got a go ahead from one of them. I ask in advance because I was not sure if I could post this request and if I could which forum it would need to be put in.

If any of them see an issue with it I would hope that they would let me know and just remove the post.

I don't know what moderator approved this but I'm overriding it. This is not allowed. Others have done it on this site before and they were promptly shut down. Soliciting the members of BFC for their votes can be seen as cheating on your part. And this is not MySpace by a long shot.

Maybe if your kids' song loses the contest to an inferior song by some kid whose father belongs to more and bigger forums you'll begin to develop some idea of what's wrong here. Or maybe you'll still be clueless....
