I like the idea of a pocket sheath, but I can't get past the idea that they seem like they'd be bulky and uncomfortable, not to mention they would print in a major fashion. Did some googling but didn't have much luck, so if anyone had some photos of their fixed-blade pocket sheaths "in action" I'd like to see 'um. Thanks in advance.

Ok, now all of a sudden the goog is going my way. Could still stand to see some more.

Did you happen to fund where to buy the first sheath's clip? I can't find that particular type anywhere.

No idea but that sheathmaker calls it a William Henry Pocket Clip.

I think the concept of carrying a fix blade in pocket is just as dependent on the sheath as it is the knife. A slim streamlined knife is much more likely to to have a sheath that follows suit. THere are a lot of folks out there though that will make you a sheath that better fits your needs. I have five fixed blades that see pocket time, my Burt Foster Dark Side, Tom Krein Hydra, Seamus Jackson and Swamp Rat Swamp Warden. I would readily recommend any of these for daily carry. THere is also the Spartan Enya, ESEE Izula, CRK Soldier and the Becker Necker that all have good reps. Of course there are plenty of other great ones out there, those are just the ones that I have handled.

^^^ What is the knife with the wooden scales? It is gorgeous

Its a fiddleback Palmer in orange Osage wood. Andy only made 4 Palmer's with different handle material. 2 have g10 if I remember correctly. Never to be made again, the design didn't speak to him. It took me the better part of six months to find that one. Then I had to sell it for bills. I'm grumpy to say the least. It was the ultimate edc. I since have replaced it with this by kfu. I just don't have a pocket sheath pic.

Check out a local here in North East PA, Bud Nealy, he makes FBs designed for discreet carry.

I've carried his Aikuchi for the last 20+ years, his carry system is very adaptable to different methods of carry and his knives are designed to be used.

Look him up, he has a website, his knives are priced right and he's very easy to work with on custom design.
