Hi everyone! I've been away for a while, busy with school and life. I'm getting back into knives lately and am in the process of building a KMG clone. I have access to a full machine and weld shop until next Thursday so I'm trying to get it all done fairly quick. I want to build a rotary platen and a MAP arm but I'm having trouble figuring out the details of their construction. Would someone be kind enough to take a few pictures of these pieces and post them here? I need to see the bottom of the MAP tool rest to figure out how it's done. I also need a closer look at the adjustment screw of the rotary platen and the distances between centers of each roller on the platen. If one of you would post those pics I would really appreciate it!

I'd also love to hear any suggestions or links you have for making the grinder work a little better. I've barely begun so there is still time to make adjustments. Thanks again!

This is an interesting topic to me.
