Uggg, I hate being sick and or injured. I have spent the last couple weeks coughing like crazy, Bronchitis was whuppin' my hinie. Off to the Doc last Friday I went, got the diagnosis and a handful of antibiotic samples, and a scrip for some wicked cough syrup. Sunday morning I woke up coughing a couple times, and the 3rd time, I woke in real pain. Low abdominal pain, radiating where no male should have pain. I went back to the Doc today, after toughing it out most of the week. It seems I have a rt inguinal muscle tear, apparently from coughing too hard. More samples, and home I come.
Man, this stinks. It's easy to take for granted how much work abdominal muscles do.
I don't know how long this is gonna take to heal, but there is certainly no harm in asking for a bit of smoke, to help the process along.

Thanks, yall

Anything radiating to where a man shouldn't feel pain is potentially dayumed serious.:( Smoke from Oklahoma.

Smoke up. Tis the season for chest problems. I know i have had more than my fair share of it this year. First a little bronch flair up in November that scared the hell out of me. I had some sort of infection except i never had a cough. I just would lose my breathe and my heart would race a bit. I would be sitting still and feel the tingle in my face like you get when you run a long distance without training for awhile. Doc takes some x-rays and does an EKG. Everything is cool. A few anti biotics and i'm good. I just wasn't getting enough air. Then I get a chest cold and don't feel very good for a few days. I get over that, and someone brings the &%^$*& flu into my house and i'm flat out on my back for 2 and half days (I'm NEVER that sick). I pull through and now i'm fine. Lungs work, everything is good to go.
It has, i think, a lot to do with my wife's work. i spend next to no time around the public during the sick-season and she is around little nasty kids all day. She gets just enough of a dose to be fine. I get sick.
Take care, DD. That sucks. Muscle tears can be a real pain to heal up. Smoke and good thoughts.

You got it DD! I have so been there. Get plenty of rest and get well soon.

Smoke from New Mexico. I hope that cough syrup is "with codeine" or something stronger. I use it about once a year for some sort of upper respiratory infection. If it helps you sleep you'll get well quicker. Good luck.

Healing wishes sent, DD.

Jeez, what a cough! Are you an opera singer or a tuba player or something?!? Nice breath support, friend! :D

Take care, and get well soon.

Smoke,

Chris

Wow. Sorry to hear that. Prayers from Atlanta!

Thanks so much, yall. No, Chris, I don't sing, well, not unless I want to empty a room or annoy my son. The cough medicine has hydrocodone in it, but I really don't like taking any form of narcotic or mood altering substance.
