Request: Smoke and Prayers For Family

I have a family member (a close cousin) that has recently been told by her doctors that she will not make it. She has been sick for the last 16 months and things have gotten really bad in the last 30 days. She is a very sweet woman with a loving disposition that has always been a strong pilar for her family. I cannot think of a less deserving person for this to happen to. She is entering hospice this week and this is pretty hard on the family. Thanks in advance for any positive thoughts and/or prayers.

Thanks everyone. I sincerely appreciate all teh prayers and well wishes. She has been moved to hospice today, and the doctors are doing everything to make her comfortable. It's hard to see her in that condition, we are definitely not anticipating the next week or so. Her mother is in completely broken, she already ahd another daughter die a few years back in a hospital medication mix up.

Again, a sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of you, this place helps a great deal in hard times like this. :thumbup:
 
Man, in a way I am sorry to hear this and in a way I am not. She isn't suffering anymore. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. More smoke and prayers, RD.
