Shame on you :D

The knives will have both a G-10 scale on one side only, Framelock, titanium coating (both, the black and the silver versions), 440 C stainless steel and pocket clip. Both models will be available from November 2007.

HYPER:

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The pics are Production Prototype Pictures!

I hope this helps...

Hyper looks sweat!! Like stretched SubCom if you ask me. This is one of my favorite for sure. M-type is looking awesome too . Congrats, Chad!

Oh no! Not another set of knives that I cannot resist.
CLB, you know how to get to me.
Hyper looks something like an Obenauf.:o

Thanks for the updates Tobias.
And yes i don't have the second catalog yet:( But luckily we have some fine moderators to keep us update.

I noticed the day after my requiest they where added at the german boker site.
So according to my knowledge they will be out end of november if everything works well with the protos ?

Well they both look very nice . At that time i might get me one of those or maybe both :D. They look like an economic replacement for some high end folders. They also look like you can throw any kind of job at them.. that is very solid built.

Allthough i have some comments on the handle of the M- Type. You might reconsider the two bumps on the finger side of the handle especially were you will be puttin' your index and middle finger. The way it looks now it could create some hotspots. You could round out the recoils a little more to prevent this. Especially the little bump behind the indexfinger recoil looks more pronounced at M- Type compared to the Hyper . I could imagine people with closet lid size hands could have a problem with placing there fat fingers on the second middle finger recoil before the second bump on the handle.

[Zombie voice] "...must...have..."

I would reconsider the blade length on the M-type-- a number of cities in the US limit folders to 3.5" and by my calculations, the 9.2cm blade is 3.6". :(

Hi Maarten,

Shame on you :D

Alohallo Marketing,

Um...I don't have one either.:( Appears that I am always the last to get such things!:o

Mahalo for answering Maarten's question...I was not sure if I was at liberty to discuss such things.:p Now, about that catalog...ya better not force me to go over there and pick one up. Yikes! I would end up never having one!

God bless my friend:cool:

No worries...de M-Type is echt wreed!!! I am not exactly sure how the production models are, but there were NO hot spots on the mock ups I did.;) Most, if not all my protoplastic mock ups go through the "Hand Test" in Hell. These two models both passed, in all hand sizes...
Ik hoop dat je het leuk vind!;)

God bless:cool:

...forgot to say Mahalo to you guys for checking out this thread!;)

God bless and take care:thumbup::cool::thumbup:

Those a really nice ! Can you not go with better steels like S30V or D2? Or make some in higher end steel and sell for a bit more for those who want it.

Thanks for your reassurance chad.
they are echt wreed!!:p I'm wondering where you picked up the dutch language???????? All these bloody dutchie tourists wanderin around the planet i suppose????

I'm glad the designer himself is responding to my little questions.

I think i will opt for the hyper as it looks to me more equipt for ruggit tasks as a trance. (Allthough this one pleases me in average edc jobs. Especially the "flipper" i like.) The M-type has MPTish blade size so that one is not my first one which got the ball rockin".
For a larger/ruggit tasks one i'll have my MPT. I am also gettin a raptor bisquit and the trance drop.
According to my german dealer www.wolfster.de all your new designs have a waiting time off 14 days. I m wondering if this is true especially for the hyper and M-type. I'll contact him on this matter.

How bout that warncliffie fixie anything ? or am i to bolt on that matter??:foot:

Hopin everything is ok with you and your family at your beautiful island Maybe when my ship comes in i'll have a visit over there;) allthough i'm not so keen on flyin....hmm

Alohallo beste vriend;)

LOL, no Dutch tourists here, that's for sure! I imagine them to be on Oahu. Learned some Dutch from my Knifebro's over at the Spyderco Forums: Mr. Blonde, spydutch, and some from Jurphaas and Craftt...man, I miss those guys.:(

Well, the HYPER will be easy to clean that's for sure! I cannot wait to see how good of a job they do on the cutouts within the G10 handle. M-Type is a bit of a beast...good thing because I have not handled a beefy folder for awhile.

Ahhhh, wolfster...great guy ya know! ;) Not sure what is up with the waiting period though. Shoot, main thing is, YOU guys get to grab these new designs before we do in the States! 14 day waiting included!

Er...wharncliffe FB? Onmogelijk...dat moet je gedroomd hebben...(for now anyway!;))

Mahalo much for your GREAT support, and nice to meet a fellow who "fears to fly"...

God bless and rustig aan!

Damn, more knives! I thought I was just about done getting more knives once I pick up a Subclaw and the new Kalashnikov, but now, even more awesome designs. I love both of them. Love the beefy look of both, and the slight recurved blades. Great job again Chad! Mahalo for all the great offerings!

Aloha JSR,

Hee-hee...:p Thanks for your support, and knife buying really never ends...does it? I too anxiously await the arrival of the SubClaw...it will definitely be a first in it's size class, (gotta remember, the Subcoms are about the size of a Ladybug or Jester!) and I do hope an ALL Black SubClaw is made...

God bless and great seeing you:cool:

This knife is awesome.

Thank you, Chad!!

:thumbup::thumbup:

Couldn't imagine a more perfect knife.

Aloha grndslm,

Whoa...I was kinda tripping out on the date of this thread...MAHALO for the great compliment...but uh, to which knife are you referring to?

Time to trip some more!!!

I was referring to the Hyper, of course. ;) Great knife. But, honestly, my EDC knife is actually a Leatherman Freestyle, mainly because it's a multitool with ONLY pliers and a one-hand open blade. I also have a Gerber Artifact on my key chain for certain tasks. But those are pretty much my main EDC blades.

The Hyper is still one of my all-time favorite blades, tho. It's more a work of art for me now. Elegantly beautiful. Keep on keepin' on. :D

I love the Hyper. And, I'm in the process of getting mine pimped with a Coyote Tan handle scale.
