.....on two hunting knives I would like to sell together. The first one is a Blackjack "Classic Hunter", 7" blade, leather washer type grip, good condition with sheath. The other one is a Blackjack "Classic Hunter", 7" blade, nice stag grip, personal inscription on blade, new condition with sheath. What might the value be on these two knives? Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks, J. Parker

Hi J. Parker -- Welcome to the forums.

Your question is best asked in the Bernard Levine forum, which is in the same group of forums as this. He is the leading authority on knife values.

This particular forum is for talking about knives, and many related aspects to the knife world. It isn't about selling and values of knives. It is a great place to learn a lot about knives, probably the best on the web, if you're not talking dollar values.

Hey, J.
Welcome to the forums!
No idea about the value of those #1-7s, but this might interest you (they're new ones, but it might give you an idea):

Got my #1-7 w/micarta from Smoky Mountain Knife Works for $65, many moons ago.
Still have it. Still love it.
Should have bought ten of them at that price:(

Welcome to the forums. There's nothing wrong with asking this question here as long as you dont try to sell it here. The value of those knives are whatever the current market will pay. Try the link above and also try a search on ebay and the for sale forum here to see what any of them sold for recently.
No disrespect to Mr Levine but just because a book lists a price does not mean that's what people are willing to pay. He told me this awhile ago when I was inquiring about the listed price of an old Bowen trapper I have.

Bernard Levine knows more about the history of knives than anyone else active on these forums. for prices you need to contact Paul Basch, buyer for the Cutting Edge® he buys more pre-owned knives than anyone else in this business. He also puts values on another 4-500 a month that are put on consignment. http://cuttingedge.com The fact that Paul works with me has nothing to do with the truth of the above. A. G.
