Can someone take a picture for me if the blade well of a Missouri Trader, specifically focusing on the area where the lanyard tube goes through the spring? I am curious about how GEC does their lanyard tubes.

I don't have a #42 so I can't help with that specific picture but I'm not sure it goes through the springs. I have a #72 in front of me so I snapped this quick pic. I think the spring wraps around the tube.

See here one of the few remaining pictures of the recent #42 run in parts. Looking at the spring/lockbar assembly farthest away, I don't see a hole in the spring, rather it appears to be contoured to the butt of the knife to wrap around the tube.

2dead, that's what I figured it looked like, but thank you very much for confirming it. That makes my job easier.

Ok, I was mistaken. I was thinking of the 73 or a 23, not 42. I don't know what I was thinking. I'll edit the original post.

I don't think there's much of a difference. Here's a #23T, #73T, and a #73ECL (like the one Ed recently posted).
