I just got the Blue one about 2 weeks ago. Way Cool! I was looking into getting the Spec Bump, but this one came up in the For Sale forums for the same price as a Spec. I have a thing for Titanium Frame locks, owning a Mini Skirmish, Dominator, Cuda Maxx 5.5, and an A. G. Russell frame-lock, and I've owned the Buck TNT, as well. The Bump fits in nicely, and is actually a bit better than the others, if you ask me. Well, it's on par with the Buck 172, as far as refinement goes, and ahead of the others.
The color anodizing makes it quite elegant, and goes beyond the tactical that all others seem to eminate. With the wicked blade, though, it has the ability to please any die-hard Tac fan. When you read about the reasoning behind the blade shape, it makes a lot of sense: straight edged front half with a dropped point for detail, and a belly-full of recurve for more agressive work. In practice it delivers just as promised.
The Onion Speedsafe mechanism is quick and responsive, and easy to use. The little flipper makes it so easy to deploy, yet I haven't noticed any propensity to self actuate. It's not as heavy-hitting as the Ralph-designed Robo mechanism, but it definitely gets the job done
Although I was tempted by the new lock on the Spec Bump, the Ti frame-lock is still my favorite.
As is my pet peeve with the majority of Ti frame-locks out there, with VERY few exceptions, I would prefer tip-up carry. I'll just have to settle for a Sebenza, if I want that, though... (hah hah, he said 'settle for' a Sebenza

) Although there is one other tip-up knife available, I just can't remember it at the moment. I can live with tip-down on this knife.
With a Ti frame-lock, S30V blade, and Assisted Opening, this is one knife you shouldn't pass up, especially if you can find one for as low as I did. This little knife may take the place of all of my other Ti Frame-locks, at least as first choice for EDC.
Good luck,
Daniel
