I love the looks of the frenzy but want to know from owners how good is it in practical use. How big is it really and can it be edc

It works just fine for slicing things, as one would expect. It's nice to slice a bagel or cut a chunk of something without needing to take care to keep the pivot are clean. When I carry it, I stick it in the long pocket down the thigh of Carpenter pants, and it rides fine though adds noticeable weight. So yes, you can EDC it, but it really isn't practical for smaller tasks.

It carries like a smaller knife because it's thin, narrow and lightweight. In my right front pocket in Levi 505s it fits nicely alongside my wallet. It doesn't bottom out in the pocket but a bit more of the handle sticks out up top.
I haven't spent much time with it but my impression is that it could fill the role of EDC.

In use, the obtuse edge geometry will not be ideal for many cutting tasks. It has a shallow, flat saber grind.
By contrast, the XL Voyager, XL Recon 1, Large Espada and XL Talwar are all much slicier than the Frenzy. But none of them carries as well.
As mentioned above the Frenzy is great in the pocket. The pocket clip works well without any adjustment needed. The smoother G-10 will not tear up your pocket.
In my medium hand, the ergonomics are good. I read from another owner that the handle was less comfortable in his large hand because of the narrowness.
The knife is mainly a novelty to me but it's not wholly impractical. If you wanted a knife for self-defense this would probably be a good choice because of the wicked blade and ease of carry.

I've been carrying my Frenzy the past few days. I can't emphasize enough how well this knife carries.
But I just mailed it in to CS Warranty.
It has bad lock stick that would not improve through cycling. I took it apart and I still have no idea what is causing the friction.
I'll leave it to the experts.

Its a 5.5" warncliffe with sexy g-10 scales and cts-xhp steel that carries so unobtrusive you can barely feel it in gym clothes, whats not to love? I got mine at Blade show last year and have carried almost every day since then. I have never felt like it couldnt do any task I needed it to do. I could see how some would maybe think the blade length it a tad long for menial edc tasks but I am so used to carrying XL folders it has never crossed my mind. The blade shape is great for most things like breaking down boxes, slicing open envelopes, gutting grizzly bears, etc. I love mine and not sure why this knife isnt more popular given the wide range of uses for it. Im a little nervous it may be put on the chopping block, seeing how CS is axeing their not so popular big folders. If they do I will buying two or three extras to put in the safe for down the road, thats how much I like it.

If you have deep pockets. The clip is the best Cold Steel Pocket clip I’ve used to date.

It is light enough, and carries well
