Calling all non safe queens, hard use grails, etc. I'm not talking about a $350.00 Sebenza, either. I'm requesting $800 and up with scratches, chips, damage, dirt, etc...ideally stuff that sticks. I'm talking about use well beyond the cutting of paper, tape and/or cardboard! Anyone ;) ?

I would but I reaaaaallllly want to see if anyone here actually uses their truly high-end stuff (which, I realize, is relative).

I get what you're saying. I just fear that you want get many replies. The general knife price average on here hangs around $100-200
My most expensive was $210

I'd like to play (whatever the game is),but I can't.

Too rich for my blood. How about pics of unused 50.00 and less knives instead. I gotta couple SAK's I haven't used yet.:)

It's ok if I don't get many responses. That would actually tell me that what I believe to be true likely is.

Perhaps you would get more replies if you start us off. Let's see pic's of your $800+ user.

It sort's seems like your mocking owners of such knives (at the same time discrediting Sebenza's as not being high-end). At the end of the day who cares what other people do with their expensive knives.

The problem is many high end knives hide wear well, my xm-18 has been used hard but you'd be hard pressed to tell by looking at it.

Here's an El Patron I was beating on for a while (highly recommended!)

Please note the Patron was in s90v, 3v probably wouldn't have shown much if any damage under the same use!

I don't have any (yet) but I have no issue using an expensive knife. I typically determine if mine are keepers before relegating them to "user" status. I'm still in the honeymoon phase with mine atm...

JDunn709, I agree with you...but...some might say you haven't been trying hard enough ;) . Oh, and thx for your pictures.

I don't go out of my way to abuse my knives.. or anything that I own for that matter. But I don't shy away from using them either.

I don't beat them up on purpose for the same reason I don't squeal my tires every time I leave a stoplight... my behavior is not predicated on a perceived need to impress others.

Someone appears to have woken this morning sans sense of humor :( .

And here I was thinking I'd be a nice guy and share some advice...

Which high end knife are you referring to? Maybe I've owned and used one of those too and can share my thoughts. :applouse:
