My second and third Swamp Rats ever and here they are on the block.
I have found a new love, and they have to go.
First up is a good condition Howling Rat. This has been EDC'ed some, but has never been on a stone. It does need to be sharpened, and probably has some kydex scuffs if you look hard.
No missing finish, and a great buy with TWO kydex sheaths that retail for a good deal of money each.
Each sheath is totally ambidextrous, so don't let the belt loop on the black Okuden fool you. I wear my fixed blades on either side, so that is the way I screwed in the belt loop.
The other is a Buy Brown, and can be worn up, down, turn around pick up another bale of alfalfa, baby!
All this for $165 shipped priority with insurance. POMO and cashier's checks only, please.
The HR is sold pending funds.
Next up is one I have EDC'd the snot out of. It has been sharpened numerous times, and kept me warm on some dark nights while standing over a manhole pulling samples. A Rat always makes me feel better out there!
It has finish wear and needs to be sharpened right now. Buy this one and don't think twice about putting it to work.
This Bandicoot also comes with two kydex sheaths, and both work great.
The first was made by Chiro75, and is an excellent style that wears great and has secure retention. This sheath is actually tuned better, IMHO, than any I have ever had. The downside to this sheath is that it is only Right handed.
However, the second sheath by Buy Brown is totally ambidextrous, and totally snag/drop resistant. It is snug, but not too tight.
Either of these work great with no clip/belt loop/tek lock worn stuffed down in your pocket front or rear, or stuffed IWB.
If you notice the tek lock on the OD is set up for horizontal carry on the belt. I often wear these in this manner, especially in the saddle. They work great, and do not get hung like you think they would. This mode of carry also makes it easy to get in your pockets. You can turn the tek lock many different ways.
This beauty is going for $140 shipped priority and insured with BOTH Sheaths.
If you only want one sheath I will take $125 shipped and keep the other.
The Bandicoot and OD Kydex are SPF. Thanks.
The 3 color desert pattern sheath is also SPF. Thanks.
You can PM or e-mail me. As soon as I have your payment I will ship these out.
Thanks, and have a great week.
