Resale shop find

Picked this up recently at a resale shop. Ten bucks. A 440c QueenSteel in good condition. The main blade has some scratches on it.

That's a great find! It looks great. Those scratches are just a bit of character.

What did Queen call that style of jigging? I like it.

IIRC its called WinterBottom (spl?) jigging

Looks nice. Heck ya 10 bucks is a good price.

Ya winterbottom is right Mike. And jeesh dude you are lucky. That is an awesome knife for an even better price. Great find.
 
Winterbottom is the jigging pattern. Prior to the '70s they did it in bone (see the '58 below) then switched to delrin to save money. Recent editions, like the Dan Burke line, are using bone again. Great find!
