rescaled a 112

caquino caquino inspired me to finish this 112 that i started a few months ago. i used unstabilized tiger maple. devcon 2 ton epoxy holding it together. i may put a layer of super glue on at some point to seal the scales. if the bolsters look beat up its cuz they are. once i polished them out, i put the knife in a plastic jug with coins in it. shake it around for 30 seconds. it comes out looking like it’s been in a pocket for years.

looks good. did ya trim down the bolster thickness..looks thinner in a good way....
 
go right ahead. i came up with the idea after seeing how a new knife looks after a few weeks in the pocket with spare change, keys, etc.
