Rescom, Rescue Hook and...

Okay so I'm looking for something like the Rescom or the Rescue hook except BIGGER. Does anyone know of something like that out there?

Maybe a Boker Jim Wagner Rescue knife. Nearly 4" blade & over 5" closed.

Hoffman marketed a tool called the 911 tool that's like a large rescue hook. I was an EMT at the time and I bought one. I'm sorry that the tool was not more successful, as it is an outstanding tool. I still have mine.I see that they are still available from a place in Australia, Wellington (surplus?) I will attempt to post a photo.

I'm exactly sure what you need it for and what all your requirements are, but heres some stuff to investigate:

Zero Tolerance and Strider both make shroud cutters.

Benchmade has a couple recue hooks and an all in one rescue tool.

Spyderco makes a serrated rescue knife thats a good size... Hope you find what youre looking for!

Benchmade has 3 rescue hooks, the Model 5 original, Model 6 with a larger handle, and ERT-1 which is more knife-sized.

I just found a Model 7 as well.

Gerber has the Hinderer Rescue that Rick designed for firefighters but has all the general rescue knife aspects.
