I had an orange rescue C14OR, sold it. HUGE, mistake their now disco'd and I can't find one anywhere.

Can anyone help me find one, I have called spyderco and scoured the web for hours, please help if possible.

Thanks in advance but I really miss that knife and desperately want another one.

Thanks again

MikeC, hoping for a Christmas miracle

Check eBay and the trade forums regularly. You might want to post in the WTB forums too. Knifeforums.com also has a trade forum.

Depending on just how desperately you want one, this might help.

I think a local B&M dealer has one. I was going over there today anyway. I'll PM you if he has one.

Knife in question is a C14SOR. Blade is ATS-55. Not sure if this is different than a C14OR.

Hey Brother just be patient. They show up more often than you think. They did dry up quicker than I thought but there are so many of them out there that it won't be long that they will show up on the trading forums such as this one. Get a Gold membership here and go check the other knife forums and you'll find all of them you want within a 3 month time frame.

You should try to find the stainless version of the Rescue. No mine isn't for sale or trade because it was a gift from a very valued brother over a Spyderco.com But the C-14 & C-45 Rescue models were both made with Stainless handles and they are built like the St. Louis ARch. I'm somewhat shocked that the Stainless Rescue models haven't become highly sought after collector's pieces but I think it could come about. Both the C-14 & C-45 models are plentiful so just be patient.

These do not appear to be that hard to find. I encountered another with a 2000 date on it (before they went to the alpha "codes" for month/year). The funny thing is that these old knives often seem to be priced at MSRP, but when MSRP is 10 years old, it doesn't look bad. :D
