Rescue Effort

We have a grandson that is a Blackhawk pilot in the Army and is stationed at Columbus, Georgia. He flies Medivac. He called today and said that he was being sent to the disaster area in La. and Miss. for 20 days for the rescue efforts. Have been watching that awful mess on TV and there are a lot of folks needing help both there and in other cities in shelters.

Well, good luck to him and I know he'll be helping a lot of people who really need it. Hope he stays safe.

Found out today that he is flying out of Baton Rouge, working the New Orleans area.
