Rescue/End of Days Knife?

Okay, so i'm one of those that changes the knife I want by the what I'm doing, reading, watching, or playing. So it is time for a knife that one would use in a end of days scenario in the city. Please keep in mind that i'm not talking about a zombie knife. I'm talking about a rescue knife. In other words I would like this knife to pry, cut, hack, stab, smash, etc... Reminder, i'm not talking about a zombie knife. The only thing that I can think of off the top of my head is the Ka-Bar Becker Tac Tool. But it lacks the stabby, stab, area. So any suggestion would be welcomed.
I've seen a lot of great suggestions. However i'm on a budget so i'm gonna put a cap at $200. But I prefer around the $100 area, because I know there are knives and tomahawks that exist around that price point. I'm a knife collector, but i'm a college student.

IMO stabbing and rescue dont fit. If you have to cut someone loose you dont want to harm them further. For your tasks an RMJ Tactical Hawk would fit better. It would add the ability to breach a door or a car in a rescue situation as well as an EOD scenario. Add an ESEE for the tasks like carving etc. and a folding saw and you would be set for urban survival.

I'm with Sven, in an urban environment as a rescue tool I would much rather have a hawk than a knife. Not to mention a tomahawk is far more menacing than a knife if we're talking about some non-zombie breakdown of society or a disaster where chaos may follow.

I second the HI CAK suggestion made by XiaolongJackson. 16" to be specific as it would allow for smaller tasks like carving that a larger one would not. Consider it a fusion of an RMJ hawk and a nice hand forged hunter, but cheaper than either one.

You can carry any knife you want. If you want to do urban rescue & escape, buy a 3'-4' pry bar. I'd much prefer a larger axe to a 'hawk.

This one is my choice.

one word .... fanboy If i only could have one knife i wouldnt be smashing it into things that would dull the blade. something practical that was designed for cutting things, not smashing things and showing off.

For approx $300, you can get one of these...
