I'll repost 'em here though..
Well... Here's the next installment of the SRM (Skunk/Rescue Mike) Faux-Poon..

Overall, I have removed quite a bit of material thinning the blade down, and have the handle pretty well shaped.

Finished with the major grinding on the blade edge..

Here's a pic of the 25 degree edge on the blade..

Looking good! Lots of work!

AND.. Here it is... The long awaited, rarely celebrated, SRM Faux-Poon!

Last.. Look at the grooves in the spine.. Not bad for a first time!

I wasn't sure about the Yellow idea, but, actually it looks top notch, and will be hard to lose.
I'll bet the cord-wrap makes it a lot more comfy, filling the hand better.

Very, very freakin' cool! I love it when people make thier own things on the cheap like that!

I really like the yellow coloring too. Bright colors kick a$$ when it comes to the things we use.

(I just five minutes ago finished making a new knife for myself with a hot pink cord wrap!)

First off bravo for making your own 'goodie'.
I have admired the look of the "Hoffpoon" but did not think I had much use for one other than something else to stick in my knife drawer.
Your project though gives me inspiration to try making one myself... hmm

Oh and secondly................
The word Faux-poon makes me chuckle rather loudly.
