Good day, all!
I'm a new user here at BladeForums, so I'll say hello, and get on down to business. I'm currently attending college, and am taking a course in Materials Sciences, learning about steels, woods, etc. I have a 15 page paper due at the end of the semester, and my chosen topic is going to be Ceramics, and more specifically, Ceramic blades. Being that you all are an eclectic bunch, I was wondering if anyone would be able to point me to information regarding Ceramic blades vs. Steel blades in the same applications, and if anyone had any particularly interesting stories or anecdotes to relate from making (or breaking!) a ceramic knife.
Any info/help would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Patrick
