When it comes to finding models you like, do you tend to resell a lot of your purchases, or do you tend to keep most your knives and only sell them if you have to? I sell most the knives I buy it seems like and only keep my favorites, debating selling a couple, but I'm curious if its just buyers remorse.

I keep mine for the most part or I'll be sitting at work and watch a guy pull a pos knife out and I will give him one of my lower end edc but still light years ahead of his gas station or flea market blade hoping to convert another person to good knives

Resell, buy new one I like, the cycle I was used to. But now I appreciate a knife more instead of just the cool factor and only have a couple but truly sweet knives around.

I feel like I am somewhat trending towards that, Ive found 3 knives I have no desire to sell, I'm thinking It's just a slow process finding ones you truly love.

I have a few knives that will be with me forever, and when forever ends, will go to one of my kids.

Other then that, I try to fund my hobby through my hobby, so I usually sell something to buy something.....

Very costly process as well. Now I have realized that to me the sweet spot of a knife is about $150-300

I haven't "sold" a knife yet.
Lost some, gave many away, but I tend to keep most of the Knives I buy, and when I do find them not being used at all, relegated to the back-back-backup options, I'll typically find someone in need of a knife and give it away.

I also haven't found myself in the club of "expensive" Knives either, so we're talking mostly all $20-50 Knives that are being given away.
