Resheathing your Tweener and own a MkI?

Yep. It's fits. A bit better than the Tweener does, actually. At least, the blade does. I never liked those "jump-ready" retention straps, and they don't fit on the MkI handles anyway. So off they will go. An X-acto knife will take care of that. And it's already set up for the replacement retention. See the holes at the top of the belt loop? Tie a 3/16" Shock-cord loop, with a secondary knot or zipper pull added for grabbing. Then you can quickly pull/stretch it over the top to lock it in place.

Now, to make a final decision on how to sheath that BK16.

Oh great! I have been curious to see if the MK1 would fit, but I really like the MK1 sheath.

-orangish ducktape

I do to (the plastic one), But its an option. I added a kydex firesteel loop to my plastic one, and have a repair needle duct taped to the back. But I think once I have this one modded over, and add black paracord to it, it'll look sweet. This sheath IS pretty light on the hip. And it fits better on the MkI blade.

That's a nice combo. I think the mk1 shd get more props. I LOVE the look of the stipped ones with kraton.

Thats good to know. I'd be interested in seeing what other brand of factory sheaths would fit the tweeners. I prefer something smaller.

i'm PRETTY sure i posted similar information a while ago

esp that the tweeners won't fit in the MK1 sheath :)

i do recall saying that for anyone that thinks the tweener sheath sucks, could easily sell it for $20 shipped to recoup costs. a lot of people will want these sheaths :0 they're that good.

I don't think they suck at all. They are very well put together. Just a little larger then I prefer for a smaller knife.
