So has anyone seen it yet? Is it worth skippin class to see Mila kick some zombie butt or not? :D

A.

I haven't seen it yet. I'll probably wait for the DVD. I loved the first one and hated the second. I don't really know which way this one will go, and $8.50 is a steep price to pay. Don't hate me, Milla:(:D

Well, I ended up skipping class today... but not to see the movie. My #@!& car battery was DOA when I tried to go to class

I agree on movie prices Steely. That's why I try to hit the matinees when I can (half off). The local theater shows one at 4:00 each day :)

I didn't see the second RE, but the first one rocked. But I think that any movie with MJ in it rocks :D

I saw it and liked it. Much more of a horror movie than 1 and 2, more scare scenes, and more gore by far. A great concept that would have been awesome on its own, and not a sequel.

SWMBO noticed the khukuries being twirled in the movie trailer... suggesting aloud her hopes that a great demand for khuks might arise, and I might sell a few dozen of mine... :o

Mike

Lever action-fu
Crossbow-fu
kukri-fu
tactical garter belt-fu

Milla Jovovich -- hot
Ali Larter -- hotter

It had a really different feel than the first two.
The thing that hurt it, IMO is the "super powers" deal.
But for cryin' out loud, it's a ZOMBIE movie. As long as you don't go in looking for ultra realism in the maneuvers used, the guns/knife handling, etc and just go to be entertained, you'll like it. IMO way better than the second one.

 Even better, a special combination offer of Kuks and first-aid kits? :D

Just see it. Like I told my friends, Milla Jovavich keeps getting older, and just keeps getting hotter.

Ali Larter seems to be catching up, though. :D

You know... If I had a girlfriend like Milla, I wouldn't have to carry anything for self-defense. I could just let her handle the bad guys while I popped some popcorn and watched :D.

You need to explain yourself,Sir - FORTHWITH. "kukri - fu"?!

THIS IS A KHUKURI FORUM. :p

Kukri-Fu. . .like Kung-Fu.

I forgot the name of the show, but it was a show that had a guy that would make fun of movies during the commercial breaks, not unlike Mystery Science Theatre 3000. Whenever the movies fought with something in a "Hollywood" style, he would say it was {INSERT NAME}-Fu.
Like Star Trek Movies had phaser-fu. Last Man Standing had Endless Magazine-Fu

RE:Extinction, with the twirling of kukris and such (i.e. "Hollywood" style fighting with kukris) has Kukri-Fu. Loading autopistol cartridges into the leverguns made it Levergun-Fu.

Blasphemer! :D

Got a free movie ticket in my truck right now. Do I see it after work, when no one else can go with me, or on the weekend with all my buds?

No doubt Milla is hot (and yes, IMO she's getting better as she ages), but Ali Larter is more, well, curvy. Given a choice I'll take the girl with curves over the one without.
