Resilience as an EDC?

Does anyone on here EDC a Resilience? I have one but struggle to find much use for it, I wear mostly business casual clothing and it just seems too big to be practical, which is disappointing since I love the big flat ground blade. I typically EDC my knives clipped on my right front pocket without a lanyard, is my mode of carry the issue?

A side note, but does anyone make scales for the Resilience other than the basic black G10?

I EDC both Resilience (always) and a Bradley or an SB Endura (taking turns). Clipless, RFP in a pouch.

Several modders do the scale, tuffthumbz comes to mind.

For office, I carry most (but especially the big knives like the Military) in 2 ways:
- clipped to the inside of my pants waistband
- clipped to pocket by using a deep-carry pocket clip

Deep carry clip for Military:

Deep carry vs standard:

I know one distributor offered Exclusive runs of the Tenacious, Ambitious, and Persistence in blue G-10, and another offered at least the Tenacious in green G-10 a couple years back. One of them may since have done the Resilience as well. As for suitability for EDC, IMHO that's a very personal thing. Some folks don't care what others may think and will carry anything that's legal and some don't even care if their knife is considerably longer than the law allows, while others do care, either because it's just their nature or because they value their jobs enough to find other, more socially acceptable ways, to express their individuality.

Lol,that's funny Deacon and I agree 100%. I remember this guy back in the early 70's that insisted on carrying his Buck 119 on the job and was promptly fired. The OP should try a Manix2 L/W,perfect large folder to edc in a shirt pocket.

I've got this one on order with Steve, aka BOOMER52 here on the forum. His work is exceptional:thumbup:

I just remove the clip and drop the Resilience in my pocket, and while I'm right handed I always use the left front pocket since my keys live in the right front pocket and the keys and the knives don't get along very well. Without the clip it is thin enough to carry conveniently, and by the time the left pocket wears out the keys have already worn through the right pocket and it is time for a new pair of pants anyway. My momma taught me not to pull it out and wave it around in mixed company so I've never had a problem.

I rotate my edc and the Resilience gets carried too in my right front pocket. For me, smaller spydies for urban carry and the big ones are for my outdoors use.

...I carried it for awhile ..mostly when camping and doing shit around the yard, I really didn't have any issues. I just clip it in my front pocket. I'd love to see someone make blue G10 scales
