Hey all, did Swamp Rat ever make a model that looked a lot like the Scrapper 5 but in SR-101?

Its a dead ringer for the Scrapper 5 except the choil is round and not angular.

I can't recall ever seeing a pic of one before. Anybody here got one?
 
Camp Tramp maybe? Its a bit bigger but the profile is similar.
 
No I do not believe they did. However I do know several people took their scrapper 5's and modified the choils to be rounded.

I believe some Bog Dogs were made in SR101.

Yes indeed, I see that now, the pic I saw wasn't very good at all. I initially thought it was a Scrapper 5 but it was stamped Swamp Rat SR-101 which threw me a bit. How is the Bog Dog then? Looks like a good cutter with that flat ground blade.

I never had a Bog Dog. But I did have an SS4 and I liked it. I also had a Scrapper 5. But I sold the S5 because it was too blade-heavy for my liking.

I suspect I'd REALLY like the Bog Dog.

The S5 blade is SR101:
(SY) S5CG (SR-101) = 6.75 ounces; .185” thick; 5.125” blade; 10.0625” oal
