Resisting........the....urge......(I failed)

I am desperately trying to resist the urge to purchase a large Sebenza. I all ready own a large Insingo and an Umnumzaan, but lately the sleek simplicity of the regular 21 has greatly peaked my interest. The two CRK knives that I all ready own are awesome, but there is just something about the original.......
I think it all started when I was cleaning a limit of ducks that I had shot. I was using my Insingo and remember thinking "I wish that I had a knife with more of a defined point to get into those tight areas". I know that the Umnumzaan fits that bill but I honestly like my Sebenza more.
So now I am fighting the urge to get a regular Sebenza. I know I came to the wrong place to get talked out of this crazy idea. At the same time I knew you all would understand!





So I guess now I am looking for a regular large Sebenza. My beautiful wife is so thrilled!! ;)

I started out the same way. Now I have a collection. :D
 
Wait until you start thinking about the Damascus models, that's when you'll know you've crossed over.

Just a suggestion: trade the Umnumzaan. The knives are so similar, you don't really need both. But then again we don't really need most of the knives we have probably, so I'll completely understand if you just go for the large 21.
 
no resisting, if you have the cash....lifes too short to be without a good knife, or without the one you urge now

I had ( and still am I guess) considering selling the Umnumzaan. I honestly don't really want to sell it at this point. That may change though. Who knows.
 
Resistance is futile.....I have been eyeballing the Damascus models allready. CRK makes some pretty incredible knives.
 
Everytime I try and resist, I end up with two it seems. So don't resist, just buy it if you can afford it. Life is way too short.
 
Don't sell the Umnum both the Sebbie and Umnum have unique features that make it fun to have both.

That's kind of my thoughts also. That's why I am having a hard time coming to terms with selling it.
 
Okay so I caved and JUST bought a large classic w/ micarta inlays. Call me weak, or call me lucky. I am going with lucky!!
 
:thumbup: I just got lucky and traded into a Lg Sebenza...I think it complements my Umnumzaan. Congratulations! (I'd call you lucky :D)
 
Excellent choice. I was going to recommend a micarta instead of just a plain regular. To me it really is the perfect knife. That and the Umnumzaan is what I have narrowed down my CRK's to.
Pretty much all you need but want.... thats a different story. :)

Yes want and need.....very different indeed. I can't wait to get it in the mail. The pics. look awesome. I am really digging the micarta.
 
With so many variations, there is always a reason to get one more Sebenza. Personally, I'm on my third, "This is the last one."
