Hahahahaha. Perhaps this thread is a little aggressive. I'm not perfect, I have many warnings and even an infraction in my profile. The rules get a little confusing sometimes.

I really like this sub-forum though. I like meeting new people and seeing it grow. I don't want to be in this forum 6 months from now and be posting about "the good ol' days when we used to have a flea market and knives would sit sometimes for days with no one buying them."
 
ahhh .. not really your place to say anything to that extreme Joe Duder. Let the Mods sort that kind of stuff out. :thumbup:
 
I appreciate your opinion. If I benefit from a thread (the flea market and this sub) and I see people abusing it, leading to it possibly being taken away, I feel it's necessary to speak up. This sub has put money in my pocket, knives in my sheath, I've met a lot of great people here, all I'm saying is respect this place or go someplace else.

However, I've never posted something so bold. This is (I feel) a little out of my league so I'll edit the post.

I'm sure there were others who felt similarly too, so I say way to go for speaking up. It's not easy leaning into discomfort as they say in the business consulting business. But yeah, the delivery could've been less combative cause as you know, it may lead to hurt feelings and stuff (so way to go for editing it afterwards :thumbup:).
 
Does anyone even know if the offender did this intentionally? I hate to see all the hostility over some knives on the internet. I feel like we need to keep this in perspective. A polite and simple PM to the offending parties should do the trick.
Duder was bold, maybe he's a bold guy..no one here really knows..no one really knows anybody on here I don't think. Take it from someone who deals with 8 kinds of crazy everyday (clinically crazy), youre never anonymous to a psychopath. A screen name and avatar is not a shield against a highly motivated nut case, and trust me they are out there. I think it would behoove all parties to keep things polite and civil going forward. Just my .02, friends:)

I don't think it was done intentionally. And I think we have a large component of users who are new to forums and don't understand fully how it works. Thank you for bringing it up Joe. It was properly done. I've asked for help with this issue from the mods. I'm going to lock this thread though. Thanks for the heads up Joe.
