responder for a dive knife

I'm no expert but looks like it would be a good choice coted blade, brite handle, stainless, serated, blunted tip ect....
 
There are Kershaw dive knives. Called sea hunters. 2 versions 1008 model number I think and a 1008bpt for a blunt tip. Also an amphibian dive knife model 1006K .
 
I still have my 1006. Good knife!
Have two of the 1008bpt blades too.

To answer the original question;
IMHO---Yes, as long as the sheath holds the knife nice and tight.
