Response to warning.

I didn't read the thread, and don't need to read your responce.

It is simply stated, your commentary in not welcome in that thread. Stay on topic, or weigh the consequences of your acts. This is a forum packed full of oath takers that wear all manner of uniforms, choosing to make waves on a day for them, in a thread for them will not be warmly received.

I don't think there is anything to misunderstand in that.

You received an infraction (points) not a warning. Your infraction was for "trolling" and you're lucky Karda got to it before I did or you would have very likely received a more severe infraction. Use a little common sense next time.

If you choose to believe it or not, there are very real and present dangers to our country and way of life, and those that if they could would attack, destroy and take away those very freedoms we enjoy.

This is the reality of the real world we live in and not some academic debate.

The military, by it's very existence is what prevents those from trying or succeeding in attacking these freedoms.

It's really not that complicated or hard to understand.

Perhaps one day you will be able to see the bigger picture and have better understanding. Until then however, I would suggest showing some gratitude and respect to those who currently serve and those who have risked and lost their lives to preserve and protect the very freedoms and way of life that you yourself enjoy.

Of course, it's only a suggestion.

I have no idea why you received an infraction nor did I read the thread involved, I am only responding to your question asking for an example of how the military is playing any role in preserving our freedoms.

That you would even ask such a question, well, I'll leave that alone. Let me just say, and I mean this with no insult intended but you really have a lot to learn about life and the real world in particular.

Best of luck to you.

This read this as many times as it takes you to understand.

DB731. I too am anti-machine and bit of a skeptic on many things we are spoon-fed and not into the whole propaganda type statements you often see pertaining to military and first responders etc.
However I am the grandson of a man who earned two purple hearts in world War 2 and the son in law of a recently retired naval captain... These men and their associates and friends I have had the privilege of meeting deserve nothing but respect. They are not the ones who should hear about Iraq or killing native Americans. They are good well intentioned brave guys that excel at their jobs. Maybe they sometimes are working for bosses that we take issue with. But the entire overwhelming majority of military personal joined to earn a living and do what they believe is right. Except the whole ww2 generation those guys joined because they literally where protecting us from an active campaign of world domination against us. My grandfather fought in iwo jima and okinowa... Killing fields. Climbing over the fallen. He was half my age.
So in respect of those such things, and being Veterans Day post and the fact that rebels like us are the minority here on the forums..... I'd not said that.

This^^^^^, I have not and will not read the thread or your response to it , I will tell you this , the men and woman fighting and dying for your freedoms is very very real. You want specifics? Let me put it to you like this, The world mostly hates Americans. Go to any nation that is deemed an enemy to the U.S. and publicly announce you are American, the chances of you being captured and your beheading being online is very very high. If you disagree with the American Military and our way of life , then Sir I ask you to leave America so that you will know how truly privileged you really are. Here you may speak out against whatever you want and you may get bashed for it, but do it in a foreign nation and you could be killed. Remember most soldiers who are fighting and dying are kids, They aren't the policy makers or politicians , they are kids, who often times just want a better life for themselves so they join the military. Do I support every action our Government does? Absolutely not. Do I support the Men and Women who have fought and died for this nation? Damn right I do. There are many many nations that would love to see America fall , they hate every American just for being American. You may say and believe what you want , and that's what makes America great. Until you have seen the horrors of war(which I wouldn't wish on anyone), You need to respect what our Military has , and will continue to do, We aren't politicians We are warriors, are job is not politics, our job is to protect the United States against ALL enemies, So that our children, and our children's children can enjoy the same freedoms we have today.

Going to Add you will never know just how many threats there really are to our way of lives as Americans, and that is a good thing, If all the "close calls" were released to the public, then some peoples outlook on our safety would change a lot, Just know that people are defending our nation 24/7 , they don't haft to be on a battlefield overseas, and most of the time you will never know they have stopped a potential threat or attack, It is done this way to keep the public calm, But I assure you there is always someone somewhere either plotting or trying to do harm to the U.S and or its citizens...

I've never had an infraction, but I have had a few warnings here on Bladeforums. In my opinion, the best way to deal with them is a quick message to the moderator saying, basically, "understood, my bad". The fact that you feel the need to start a new thread to respond to the warning is not a good sign. You have nothing to gain by making more work for the mods. Just let it go, nothing you post her is going to make you more right or more wrong. Anything short of an unqualified apology is just going to make things worse for you, it's just the nature of the beast.

This is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

In a political discussion, all views can be expressed. On your own time, or in a thread you start here -- pretty much the same. But when you find a thread dedicated to remembrance, and instead of a polite condolence, you feel you need to dispute the validity of the deceased's experience, you are trespassing on sacred ground. That's too much like the Westboro Baptist Church for us to allow it.

Your right to swing your fist ends before you hit my nose. Your right to criticize anything to do with our veterans ends at a funeral or memorial service.

DB, you're a little "thick" like a lot of your ilk. Probably young as well, which can't be held against you. But please read a little history before you start your BS again. Best Wishes.
