Has anyone used one of these clever looking, belt cutter/glass breaker, keychain tools? If you have, how did you like it? Haven't seen one off-line. It looks heavy. Most of the weight would probably be in the hidden striker.

Apparently the glass breaker works somewhat like an out-the-front knife. Pressing it to a window loads and then fires the striker. The seatbelt cutter looks like a concealed recessed blade.

Always room for one more small but brilliant tool on my keyring. Which, strangely, has no keys on it. Instead it carries: 3' lufkin tape measure ($1.97 at Lowes), white inova led, utilikey, sliver gripper, screws-all, marbles compass, p38 can opener (currently wrapped in painter's tape, need shrink wrap) and loaded small spy capsule (glow-in-dark mini fox 40 incoming).

Geez...you seem to find really interesting products out there. "oregon, the dude who can find things that you never knew that you needed, until he found it...." Grrrrr ;)

10 bucks at a local store near me :) I am thinking that I will have to go pick one up. Thanks for the find!

I recently bought 60 ResQMes, which I sold on to guys at BritishBlades and to fellow firefighters at work.

It is a great little tool. The glass punch is very effective on toughened glass, as found on vehicles.

Two guys have come back to me and said that they have used them operationally:
One at a car fire where access needed to be gained to the vehicle

One at a distressed baby locked in a car. (when we have time we completely cover the window with duct tape, then "pop" it. All the glass comes out together, attached to the tape)

Anybody knows if some website is offerring this product I would like to give it a try?

Where I can buy and how much is it?

I have one on my keyring. It's very light, much lighter than you would think.

Just picked one up at a local store (managers special $9.99  ) Really light and it is a great size. Looks pretty sturdy and I am really happy with it. Bought several to use as gifts. The only major problem that I have with it is that I can already tell that I have the tendency to walk around pushing the striker button and I know that I am going to forget and pop myself in the thumb
