Restoration Question - Derlin Handles

Hi all.

I'm trying to clean up a Case XX Sodbuster JR that has a lot of blade abuse for someone. I thought about polishing and smoothing the handles some, which I believe are black darling. Any recommendations on what I can use to get a nice sheen that will keep for a while?

It's Delrin.
Delrin polishes like any soft plastic. You can sand them, then buff with 0000 steel wool, then polish on a slow buff with tripoli polish.
Since it's soft, scratches and dings will come back easily.
 
Apparently my phone didn't like the word derlin, and I should do a better job spell checking.
